Yamini is an Electronics and Communication Engineer, rather than continuing her engineering profession she chose to follow her passion for art. She has been associated with the Abu Dhabi cultural foundation as well as Dubai International Art Centre where she continues to exhibit. She is a member of the International Watercolor Society UAE (IWS UAE). She works in Oil, Watercolor and Pastels and her style is mostly "expressive realism". She was awarded the third prize in the national watercolor competition held by IWS in 2016. She has exhibited her works in watercolor festivals held in Hungary, Indonesia and Italy. Currently her work is in Brazil on a travelling watercolor exhibition covering four countries : India, Brazil, UAE and Italy. She has participated in World art Dubai 2018.
