His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, visited the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority stand during his opening tour of the Global Islamic Economy Summit 2016, being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

His Highness Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed by senior officials from Dubai Culture including His Excellency Saeed Al Nabouda, Acting Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and was introduced to the Authority’s initiatives showcased at the Knowledge Pavilion of the summit.

As the official Knowledge Partner of the summit, Dubai Culture through its collaboration with ‘1001 Inventions’ – an award-winning international science and cultural heritage organisation focused on raising awareness of the creative golden age of Muslim civilization – has a special installment at the summit inspired by the 1000-year old ‘House of Wisdom’ showcasing Dubai Culture’s ‘Creatopia’ virtual platform for the creative community in the UAE.

The third annual Global Islamic Economy Summit 2016 aims to shed the light on the different aspects of Islamic economy and its achievements over the past few years.
