Background
Photographers for Hope is an initiative founded by photographers who believe in the power of images to support positive social change. I was asked to design a brand that embodied this belief. The brandmark could appear on anything from a tuk tuk in Kashmir, Pakistan to a poster in the United Nation Headquarters, so it was important to keep it simple and easily identifiable.
Concept
The brandmark represents hope on a macro level. Its connection with photography is via the flower icon which represents the macro option on a camera. We have adapted this to incorporate the letter āPā.
