Part of an installation created for Sikka 2015 as re-imagination of the character "Shaikha" who appeared earlier last year in Sikka 2014.
Shaikha represents Emirati hospitality in one of its most common, and simplest forms, The Majlis. with it being a critical part of the Emarati Culture, the Majlis shows how the UAE uses this room as a means of connecting, listening, socializing, feasting of various delicacies and consensus, for it has also been known to be for years and until date, a place to listen to people's concerns, In a Majlis people share both moments of sorrow and even celebrate joy under one roof.
