This sculpt is an updated version of the one published on July 23. It represents what we knew by that time about the batsuit for the Batman v Superman film. It is based in one released official picture (below) and the the cowl and cape showcased in the 2014 San Diego Comic Con. The overall look hints the Jim Lee version with a short-eared cowl and Frank Miller’s with a bulky figure and a huge bat-symbol on chest. I hope you enjoy this fan-art piece
Batman V Superman version published on July 23 2014 in Gulf News on a feature we created to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Dark Knight. You can find the complete project on my portfolio :).
For long time this one was the only official image released by Warner Bros. I based my first published sculpture on this reference.
Three days after our Batman 75th anniversary feature was released, the fans started to upload images of the official cape and the cowl showcased in the 2014 San Diego Comic Con.
Some fans went a little bit further and tried to create a hoax using the illustration we published in our feature, these images were viral for a few days.
